Ideas for implementation of PD learning:
  • use the links from the toi tupu slideshow (above) to address specifics in daily reo; particular focus on accuracy of grammatical structures (unlearning 'pakehafied' structures i te reo)
  • continue to refer to my day by day book for  phrases, directional, instructional language - check with Erueti for flow of te reo ie are Te Pihinga me Te Kauri using the same words; ensuring consistency in teaching/learning
  • use Putaiao Online as a support resource while unit and lesson planning
  • to assist with creating vocabulary lists for classroom display, to be absorbed in tuhi korero, mahi kainga (supporting both tauira me whanau i te reo) and use when delivering across curricula
